I'm not sure, but I found Miss Swablu stuffed inside this one! [Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, size-wise, but not many things are making sense today. He puts it away again.] I was wondering if you got a feathery friend too, since it seems like we have lots of things in common.

[Like being new and confused and in the possession of weird red trinkets.]

[He does venture a glance toward his backpack though, still sitting on the ground a few feet away from him. It's where he'd found his PokéGear earlier and, being so distracted with that at the time, he hadn't thought to investigate any of its other contents...

[His curiosity piqued by the strange ball and stranger bird, he crawls over against the wall to retrieve the bag, pulling it open and sticking his hand inside to dig around for the second time.

[Sure enough, only a few moments later, it emerges with pokéball.]
